Legendary Basketball Coach Pat Summitt Steps Aside As Head Coach; Takes On New Role

Tennessee's Pat Summitt the NCAA's win leader with 1,098 wins, stepped aside as head coach Wednesday, and was named head coach emeritus.

Long-time assistant coach Holly Warlick has been named to replace Summitt as head coach.

Pat Summitt said Wednesday, "I recognize that the time has come to move into the future and step into a new role". "I intend to continue working as head coach emeritus, mentoring and teaching our players".
